Yes, I know what I'm asking, and yes, I understand the risks - this is a "special request". We used to do this on old PBX's by having '9' as a referral extension and maybe removing a few safeguards. Is it still even possible on newer equipment? IP phones in remote locations give the same functionality in a much safer way, so maybe it's just not necessary anymore, except I can't get an IP phone to this user tonight. This is an IP0 406v2 on 4.1(15), BTW...

 
This is best achieved using VM Pro so that you cat request a PIN before proceeding
it is technicaly feasable by routing the inmbound call to a shortcode that seases a line & then relying of the DTMF from the caller being routed to the line but i woudl strongly advise against trying.


A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
