Hi There,
We've had a lot of layoffs(including the real-knowledgeable phone guy).

Anyway, I want to forward calls to particular numbers automatically to an ACD queue that I've mapped to a voice service. The voice service just plays a message that the extension is no longer active.

On various advice, I've set the HUNT and FDN to the ACD number, 6506, but that doesn't work. If I set the call forward button to forward to 6506 it works, ONLY if I do that on the phone physically, (IE engage the forward light).

But, that's not how I want to handle all 112 phones.

Any ideas?
thanks, MB

you can remove the ext. in question from the phone and build that DN as a dummy ACD queue and set the NCFW to the ACD ext. recording. Post back if you need steps.

thanks very much.

those steps would be helpful, could you post?

But, I want to keep the DN in question active, for possible later use(and to keep the port active, etc.)

Any way to set the forward button on for a particular set from the switch?

disu the station and set the rdr prompt to acd dn, out the phone and set vnr (vacant number routing) to the acd dn use a rco to redefine the ring no answer to one on those sets, with fdn xxxx and fna in class they'll ring one time. if it's outside calls, put the dn in an idc table (ld 49) apply that to the inbound did route and that will send then to the acd prompt from external. several ways to do it, pickone and repost if i can help with which ever way you choose..

BDog2020,
If you are using the Meridian Mail voicemail system, you don't need to change the phones, just use the VSDN table to route calls from those extensions to your new voice service. You will need to create a vsdn entry for each phone, and remove the VSDN entry once you are done.

Keep
It
Simple

Cheers,
Charlie

thanks 81 Charlie. I don't know about VSDN tables though, which load is that?

what commands might I use?

thanks,
