Hello,

I have found several posts concerning this issue but still need a little clarification. I hope someone can help me. We are on an Option 11C. We have a user that needs his DN to forward to his cell number whether you are calling from within the sytem or externally. I was able to get it to forward when dialing internally by:

ld23
ncfw 91XXXXXXXXXX

But it does not work when you dial his extension outside of the system/externally. I did find a thread that suggested using ld15 and changing cfo to cff but there were warnings about toll fraud.

Is there a good way to accomplish this withough making our system vulnerable? If you have suggestions I'm afraid I will actually need the load number and the steps because I am fairly green with this system.

Thank you so much for your time!!

IF YOU ARE COMING IN ON DID TRUNKS THE NCOS OF THE TRUNK NEEDS TO BE HIGH ENOUGH TO DIAL OUT,ALSO CFTA IN THE CDB NEEDS TO BE SET TO YES

Hi,

Can you elaborate a little more? What do you mean by the NCOS of the trunk needs to be "high enough". Also in what load do I change CFTA to YES, is that load 15 or 23? Is this needed in addition to adding the number to NCFW in load 23 and changing CFO to CFF in load 15?

I'm sorry that I need such specifics but I am still learning this system.

One last question, if I make these changes - is our system vulnerable for toll fraud?

I really appreciate your assistance, this forum has been a great help to me.

THE DID ACTS LIKE AN EXTENSION WHEN IT FORWARDS OFFSITE SO THE NCOS OF THE DID TRUNK NEEDS TO BE HIGH ENOUGH TO DIAL A LOCAL NUMBER. CFTA IS CHANGED IN LD 15 UNDER REDIRECTION BLOCK. AND THE LAST QUESTION IS YES, ANYTIME YOU GIVE SOMEONE THE OPTION OF FORWARDING OFFSITE THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A CHANGE.

You can also place the trunk ACOD in front of the number you forward to. The ACOD replaces any leading digits (like 9, 99 or 0). So say your ACOD = 7701 and the number you forward to = 5551234 then the full NCFW should be 77015551234. To find the trunk ACOD go to LD 21 and print the RDB for the required route.
