You need R6.0 or higher processor to do so. And even then, if you have POTS lines it is not technically supported (although I have clients using the feature with analog lines and it works fine-it depends how far you are from your CO).
Order Centrex, bell system transfer, or whatever your LEC/CLEC might call it. Make sure you order this service for each phone line. Then add a recall button to your phone. When a call comes in, you can press recall, dial the destination number, when the receiving party answers the phone, press recall again and hang up. This is actually transferring off premise and not forwarding, but it sounded like what you were trying to accomplish.
Telecomboy was correct, R6 and higher for remote forward on the Partner ACS. Sometimes with POTS lines you will have db(volume) loss between called parties because of the line quality.
well, I told them to just give the calling party the phone number and release the call for now... and I recommended that they upgrade their phone system to a 20th century system - or possibly a 21st century system if they want to join the rest of society and have some improved functionality... I can't believe how limited this system is ! Who would have thought about wanting to forward a call until release 6???
The thing on off premise transfer also is that they only have 7 CO lines coming in - so I explained to them that even if they could forward off prem like they wanted too, that would eat up 2 lines per call, 3 calls like that and then the busy signals would start coming - that scared them out of it too.
try with the call on the phone to press Feature 03 and see if you get a dialtone back then you already have centrex (or similar) lines and then dial the number and hang up.
