I have a weird issue I have setup a forward using an ACD on a system and it keeps rolling the call to the meridian mail mailbox not found prompt.

I have tried with and without the 1, yes the 9 is the outbound requirement.

This is a us number 10 digit dial, basically moved a client from 1 building to another with different phone systems so doing call forward from the system side until we can get the number ported over.

System is on a PRI, I am wondering if it is an NCOS issue, would it be better to do as a phantom and if so how.

Oh, I see. The voice mail system at the "other building" is seeing the originally dialed number over the PRIs.

Add the originally dialed number to the voice mail DN list in the mailbox at the other building. You "might" need to proceed it with a 9. Don't ask me why, but you might.

so try adding a dummy vm box for the full 10 digit number, also I don't know if it helps but If I try and dial the ACD from another extension instead of forwarding it out I get a fast busy like a bad route.

It sounded to me like 7890 at the other site had a Forward No Answer to Voice Mail and it did not know anything about the originally dialed number.

CALL FLOW

-- Building 1 --
Inbound PRI Nortel Option 11c
770-989-2658 -> ACD 4552

-- Building 2 --
Inbound PRI Nortel Option 11c
ACD to Forward call to other building with number
404-419-2139 -> 3730 Type 500

Calls never leaving building 1, now getting your session cannot be completed, transferring to attendant

This is after adding 4552 into Meridian Mail.

Forward to some display phone at building 2. Look at the display and you can tell what number the phone thinks was dialed. Add that complete number to the mailbox in building 2.

what happens if you just dial 4552 from within building 1? Will it go to building 2 as you want it?

Is it possible that you are not going to the other system at all? did you track the call at both ends?

for this type of setup usually, you could create a Phantom 500 line, and setup a FTR DCFW 11 955555555555 and give it CFXA cls, and in your customer Data block make sure have CFF in your Features, and give 500 line a high enough Ncos level to call that number...
