Greetings-

I have a forwarding mail agent that forwards incoming mail to an email address at America Online.

The recipient at AOL expects to have the ability to reply to incoming mail. Easy enough to do for non-Notes addresses as the header includes the full address, ie: someone.special@suchandsuch.com. Cut and paste it. No can do for Notes addresses. The recipient sees the "Notes address" in the header, ie: Someone Special/BE/Suchandsuch. The AOL recipient has to guess at the correct internet address for the Notes addresses.

Has anyone out there translated Notes addresses to "internet addresses" with a forwarding agent? Perhaps in the body of the forwarded mail?

Even better would be an agent that does not "forward" but acts like the AOL recipient is the Notes recipient. Then the AOL recipient could just hit "reply" and the reply-to would be an internet address, not a Notes address.

If you would care to share a snippet of code or some suggestions, maybe a similar situation. I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
-Michelle [bigcheeks]
