How do I forward all calls from an active internal DN to a external phone number

enable allow redirect in capabilites for this extn first.
Then at the extn press feature 4-followed by the line pool code then the external number.
EG: f4-9-external number.

Not sure how to setup the routing, can you help.

If the external route is already set for making external calls eg dial 9 then you just enter Feature 4 - 9 -external number.

Replace the 9 with whatever code you use to access external lines.

You may already dial a code to access an outside line, like a 9. First you need to determine if the code used is a routing detination code or a line pool access code.

Go to Services>telephony services>call routing and expand Destination Codes. If the code you use to make external calls appears there, you're done.
If not ...
Go to ...
Services>telephony services>general settings>access codes and expand Line Pool Codes. Highlight each line pool until you find the digit you use for an external access code.

Post what you find.

Thanks for the help, I finally got it. For some reason when I try to go through the BCM MGR under the DN - capabilities - Call Forward and try and enter the external number, I would get a fast busy when dialing the extension. However, If I goto the headset and do a feature 4 and the external number everything works. And I can go back into the BCM mgr and the external number appears in the fwd all calls to.
