forward email

I need to forward email to another of site server. I have tried to set up the email address of the off site email in the exchange 5.5. I have assumed by entering the additional email address, every time that user would get an email at our home location it would automatically be forwarded to off site address. ???

What mail client are you using...have you tried setting up an out of office reply, or what about rules wizard???????
