forward delete? 1

Hello,
One more Windows idiot here asking how to do something simple in Mac OS X. I have an iBook that has a delete key, but it only works like a Windows "backspace" key. Is there a way to do a "forward" delete like a Windows "delete" key?

Press the Fn key (bottom left on keyboard) plus the Delete key for forward delete.
