I need to forward DID calls to other number. I would like to forward the calls and be able to disconnect the actual phones. I need to do this for 6 months. Usually when I do this the TN disables itself eventually, because there is no phone attached. Any help would be appreciated.

I would rebuild the DID's as either phantoms or dummy ACDs.

I have seen reference to creating phantoms in here. I have never done this. Is it as easy as using a nonexistent TN number, or is it more involved than that?

By the way: I suggested that we just have the telco do it. The CIO said no to that for some reason.

Phantoms are virtual TN's that are used mostly for forwarding stuff just like that!

do an LUVU type 500 and it should show any phantom tn's att he end of the list, you will see it says phantom i think.

This is what I get when I do a LUVU. I have seen in other posts where it says virtual or phantom, but I do not seem to have that.

REQ: LUVU
TYPE: 500
TN
CDEN
TYPE 500 TN 018 0 00 01 4D
TYPE 500 TN 021 0 00 05 4D

TYPE 500 TN 028 0 00 09 4D
TYPE 500 TN 028 0 00 12 4D
TYPE 500 TN 028 0 00 13 4D
TYPE 500 TN 028 0 00 14 4D
TYPE 500 TN 028 0 00 15 4D

You can create the phantom loop, I dont remember how because its been a long time but we can search it here.

or you can build them each one as a seperate ACD group and forward them as suggested before.

I stole this! lol

LD 17 – Configure a phantom loop.

REQ CHG Change.

TYPE CEQU Common Equipment parameters.

- TERM N0-N159 Single density local terminal loop; precede loop number
with “N” to create a phantom loop; precede with an “X” to
remove a terminal loop.

- TERD N0-N159 Double density local terminal loop; precede loop number
with “N” to create a phantom loop; precede with an “X” to
remove a terminal loop.

- TERQ N0-N159 Quadruple density local terminal loop; precede loop
number with “N” to create a phantom loop; precede with an
“X” to remove a terminal loop.

LD 97 – Configure a phantom Superloop.

REQ CHG Change.

TYPE SUPL Superloop data.

SUPL N0-N156
N64-N80
Local Superloop in multiples of four; for Option 11C
systems, range is 64-80 in multiples of four; precede loop
number with “N” to create a phantom loop; precede with an
“X” to remove a terminal loop.

Note: Phantom TNs can use loops 0-159 for all machine types
except the Option 11C. ****Phantom TNs on Option 11C telephones are restricted to card slots 41-60 (which convert to superloops 64-80).*****

The phantom loop is created in LD 97.

If you have an Option 11, then the first phantom loop in 97 you can create is 96.

Phantom Loop 96 yields card slots 61 - 64, and 81 - 84.

To provision phantom loop 96:

LD 97
REQ Chg
Type Supl
SUPL N96

Then the phantoms are programmed as 500 sets. FTR DCFW is required for the phantom to operate properly. Also the TGAR and NCOS must be sufficient to allow the destination to be reached.
