When our operator is at lunch, all incoming calls need to be forwarded to another phone. Is this setup at the console or in software? Can separate trunks and their members be forwarded to different phones?
There are a couple ways to do it - on COT trunks there is a night setting - the dn could be entered there and calls would follow to that DN whenever the console is in nights.
Or in the Nite_Data, you could setup different DNs by time of day - this would affect all calls to attendant
Or you could send the calls to a time of day controller in voice mail and depending on the time send calls to different menues/announcements which could allow 0 out to an ext or auto transfer to an ext.
Some of our customers have another phone (m2616, 500) handled by the attendant. From 8 to 5 they have the nite (LD 15) programmed with that extension number. The attendant sets the call forward in this phone to the extension where she is going to be (so she only has to press the night key in the console and set the call forward key in this phone).
After 5 pm the nite is set to a VMail Message or another phone
