I want to be able to forward my phone based on where a call is coming from (internal/external). I know I can change the Forward but then it will ring my phone. I want to say if the call is internal go to this 10 digit number, but if it coming externally come to my phone. Using a 9.x Cisco CALl Manager

You could create a translation pattern that goes to a route pattern that points to that 10 digit number that I am assuming is external. Put them in their own partition and first in any CSS that could dial your extension internally.

Or you could do single number reach. Which would ring your phone and the external phone at the same time.

Excuse my lack of knowledge but the order of the partition in the CSS matters? I have created a translation pattern 8699 under my InternalCalls Partition. I have InternalCalls partition first in my CSS. I also have that same CSS in my Translation Pattern. I then have my external number listed in Called Party Transform Mask. Nothing different is happening. Calls internally and externally still go to my phone. What is that Single Number Reach?

I was able to configure the mobility but that isn't going to work for this application. I need to have internal calls go to an different external number and I need to have external calls go to my phone.

Yes, the order in which the partitions are listed is how the CSS looks. So it looks at the first and says "no DN" it moves on to the second, and so on and so forth.

Keep the translation pattern the same. You need to make a route pattern with you external number for it to route out. Put it in the same partition as the translation pattern.
