Hi All
I need to set an option in one of my AA vectors to redirect inbound calls to an off net to an 800 number for phone sales. I have all my AA vectors running fine I just need to get around this forwarding off net part.
System is a Definity G3si V12.
I have the "Cvg of calls redirect Off-Net" turned on but other then checking that I have no clue.

Thanks

Jason

Be sure you put a "9" (or whatever your ARS feature code is) before the toll free number you're calls are seeking.

Carpe dialem! (Seize the line!)

So in the vector I should just be able to route-to number (91800 number) no coverage if whatever I need here.

That should do it?

OK just tried that I got silence and then the line dropped.

do a "list trace" on the vector and see why it failed. could be a couple things as already mentioned. cor, trunk to trunk transfer, other restrictions.

this is what I got:
15:29:25 113 1 vdn e5061 bsr appl 0 strategy 1st-found override n
15:29:25 113 1 wait-time
15:29:26 113 2 announcement
15:29:43 113 3 collect
15:29:59 113 4 route-to
15:29:59 113 5 goto
15:29:59 113 6 route-to
15:29:59 113 7 goto
15:29:59 113 8 goto
15:29:59 113 9 goto
15:29:59 113 10 goto
15:30:00 113 28 route-to
15:30:00 113 29 stop
15:30:00 113 29 LEAVING VECTOR PROCESSING cid 238
15:30:00 113 29 TRACE COMPLETE cid 238

step 28 should route to the 800.

Sorry to sound dumb but I don't even know where to start looking (I haven't been doing this very long or often).

Do a list tru, locate the incomming and outgoing tru, record the TAC number. Then do a list trace tac xxxx .

Best to do this twice once for the incomming trunk and once for the outgoing trunk unless they are both the same. It is also best to do this afterhours or when the traffic is low (non-existant) otherwise you will see other call not the one you want.

This will show the particular error you need to see.

Good luck
