want to forward a 500 set to an outside number

I seem to remember there was a code or key selected, then you entered the number.

You need CFXA in the CLS.
Under feature, enter DCFW 8 X-XXX-XXXX <-------The number you want to forward to.

Hi,
The 500 set needs to have Class of service = CLS CFXA

This stands for call forward external allowed.

You also need to have a FTR CFW 16 which allows a forward upto 16 digits.

example :
CLS TLD DTN FBD XFD WTA THFD FND HTD ONS
LPR XRD AGRD CWD SWD MWD RMMD LPD XHD SLKD CCSD LND TVD

Oh and nearly forgot. To set the forward you need to dial the feature code for forwarding followed by the number. Cant tell you what the code is as its down to your pbx.

#1 is common in the UK.

To check it out look up the code in LD 57

PRT
TYPE FFC
CUST 0
CODE CFWA
(call forward allowed)
