Hello all, I am currently working on an Intranet site for our telecommunications department, and I had a few questions. My site is finished and uploaded to one of our servers, and fully functional. I am happy with the result so far. My next step however is to add a forum/news section so members of the department will be up to date on the happenings. I really have NO idea where to begin with forums, or how they work, and i was unable to find a mroe appropriate place on this site to ask the question. So can anyone please guide me on how to go about setting up, administering, and perhaps pulling recent topics to the front page, thanks.

If your looking for a good forum solution - I recommend phpBB.

Best of all it's benefits it's FREE! You'll need a server-side database for it to work correctly, and I don't remember all the dbs it supports - but MySQL is one of them (I think Access is too - but why use that on the web).
