I'm looking for a php solution to post a message board on a website for general(non-techi) discussions.

what is the best way to go about this?

Just make sure you get the latest version as phpBB is in the hit list for exploits.

yes! if you dont update, there is a bug in the highlight-script.

I would PERSONALLY edit the viewpost.php file and check if it's updated!

When I ran the update script, it did *not* update properly! So my forum had attacks twice after the update.

I then changed the code manually, thru my ftp client (as always), and now it's fine.

it's in the viewpost.php, as I said..
