Fortune-Mod with Evolution?

have been scouring the net trying to find _something_ about this, but I would like to know if you can use fortune-mod or something similar to send out a different quote as part of Evolution?

I'm running Gentoo Linux with Evolution 1.0.8 and would appreciate any suggestions or point me in the right direction! J.R. Juiliano
