Fortran Compiler Help 1

Hey, I am looking for a Fortran compiler. I have both windows and unix (Kubuntu) on my computer, and I know it works best on unix. In my search for a compiler I stumbled on Force 2.0, which works on windows, but it's pretty awfull. And I can't find a normal compiler for unix.
Does anybody know a good compiler, and where to find it?

gfortran is part of gcc. Force is actually g77 which used to be part of gcc. That has been replaced by gfortran.

If you don't like either then use this as a starting point
