formulas not working in excel

Hello excel fans

I have a problem with percentage returns in excel,

A1 = 1.28 B1 = 2.2 C1= 67%

Should return 4.70

Returning 3.70
I had a HLOOKUP table and found it didn;t work out right, the table based on a named range is the same as the above but Ihave used different cells.

=(H9*C9)+(HLOOKUP(I9,MARKUP,2))

anyone able to help

Hi again, breakfast.

Your first formula is a little tough since you haven't told us what the formula is, you've only given us the outcome--yours and Excel's.

Your HLOOKUP describes that you're finding the value in I9 in the first row of the named range "markup", and returning the 2nd row of "markup".

I don't know how to help any further than that but to say you can email the file if you want. I'll take a look at it.
