Formulas ignoring grouping 1

It is just something i have to share with you and beg for help.
My Report contains asks for the formulas where I ned to A.count {MASTER_ID}
and
B.count {BILL_ID}
and
C. count {ORDERS}
and
D. A/B
and
E. {cost}*{qty}
and
F. E/B

Formulas were created. Product Group was inserted BUT formulas are ignoring group. It shows same numbers per product.

Please, help

Try posting technical information:

Crystal version
database/connectivity used

If you have existing formulas, post what is in them now.

It sounds liek you need to just place the fields in the details, right click each and select insert summary->then pick the type of aggregate you need, such as sum, count, etc., and specify at the group level.

Cost * qty might be accomplished using:

sum(({table.cost} * {table.qty}), {table.group})

In general you cna manually place formulas in the Group Header or Group Footer using:

count({table.field},{table.groupfield})

Change group to sum or whatever as required.

{table.group}, {table.group}, {table.group} is missing link, I think! Thanks so much, I forgot about {table.group}
