Formula to Select Most Current Date From Detail

Good Evening Tek-Tips,

How do I create a formula to capture and display the most current Invoice Date from the Details section and print that in the Group Header?

Place the date in the details, right click it and select insert->summary->maximum.

It will create a field in the Group Footer. Drag it to the Group Header.

You can also write your own formula:

maximum({table.date},{table.group})
