Formula Problems

I need to figure this out!!!!!!

Here the problem this is what I have displaying

AccountNumber Balance Date
2 10 Feb.1,1999
2 2 Feb.1,2000
This is what I need to be displayed

AccountNumber Balance1 Balance2
2 10 2

I words I need to get 2 balances for 1 account from to records. Once I have them combined, I nedd to delete the older record, so that I only show one record for each Account Number.

If you need more detail to solve my problem let me know
