Hi all,

I'm fairly new to Excel but would class myself as more capable than a noob.

But, I want to look at a range of figures to determine the cost of an item listed in eBay.
The eBay costs would be:
From: To:
.01 .99 £0
1 4.99 £.15
5 14.99 £.25
15 29.99 £.5
30 99.00 £1
100 or over 1.30

So I want to enter a cost of an item in cell C1 and have the formula/statement return the appropriate eBay cost, referencing the above.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Regards

Geoff

hi,
So I want to enter a cost of an item in cell C1
HOW can THAT be?

You have THREE columns of data posted, the third being column C???

assuming that your table is in a1:c7

then if your value is in D1, rather than C1...
[tt]
=VLOOKUP(D1,$A$2:$C$7,3,TRUE)
[/tt]
