Formula need for dropdown menu

I posted this once before, but really could not figure it out. I have attached a pic to assist you in exactly what I am needing.

To simplify this, on the spreadsheet there will be a list of names and their individual weights. This is in the red incircled area and will be hidden from view, once completed, Above that is a drop down menu that picks up on the names within the hidden area.

At the top is part of a weight and balance sheet (green shaded area).

What I am needing to do, is when a name is selected in the drop down box, we are needing that persons corresponding weight (only) to be shown in the (green shaded area) of the weight and balance.

These are pilots that fly our medical helicopters.

Someone had mentioned using VLOOKUP, but not sure how to do it. Thanks in advance for any help.
