formula ideas Help

Hi Everyone

1) I am trying to create a spreadsheet that summarizes data by week. What will be the formula.

Also i want to track data once they are sent and come back in. What is the best method of designing sent and return process. For example.

Uploaded to FTP Counts
3/13/2008 117677
3/14/2008 650222

Now lets assume 3/13 shipment came back but 14 is outstanding how do you track this. or what is the best method of showing in or outstanding and the summarize in a seperate column

For point 1) I'd have a look at a PivotTable.

For tracking data, use a database. Excel is a spreadsheet - using it as a tracking tool can be done but is relatively complex...
