I am using crystal 2008 and I have created a letter and want to use a closing block at the bottom. I need to create 3 separate lines. The name will depend on department number. I am looking for something like this:

Yours sincerely, <text object>

Name
Department
Title

Thanks,
Bruce

How about:

//@Closing_Name
IF {Table.Field} = 100 THEN "Smith,Joe" ELSE
IF {Table.Field} = 200 THEN "Johnson,Jane" ELSE
IF {Tablee.Field} IN [400, 600, 800] THEN "Sanchez,Skippy" ELSE
"ERR"

If you have someone in multiple departments, use the line with the IN [] listing.

Hope this helps!

Are you grouping on department? Or is the report based on a department parameter? What do you mean by "bottom"--group footer? Report footer? Are there multiple names/titles per department? How do you know which one to use?

If the issue is aligning the name, department, and title, add them in separate group footer sections (if you are grouping on department).
