Hi,

i need to find a formula that calculates the following:

TOTAL NUMER OF PARALLELS COMPLETED

Name Rate Diff Move to next per
Kevin 235 39.5 274.5

Fin 314 15 329

Pete 344 52 396

Charley 448 10.5 458.5

Bruce 469 60 529

Warren 589 >528

i know it is simple but my brain just will not get round it

thanks

Uhm....

Typical of any line in your "example"

344 + 52 = 396

sorry not a good explanation:
A B C D
1 Name Rate Diff Move to next per
2 Kevin 235 39.5 274.5

3 Fin 314 15 329

4 Pete 344 52 396

5 Charley 448 10.5 458.5

6 Bruce 469 60 529

7 Warren 589 >528

When Kevin has completed 274.5 units then a indicator maybe in column (E2)to say "Active"
next to Fin, and like wise when Fin completes 329 units the "active" comment moves to Pete, and so on. All the other state "non-active".

Thanks

What is the logic to determime if the row should say active or nonactive?

It may be me but I do not get it!

Try in ColumnE starting in row 2

if (b2>=d2,"Active","Non-Active")
and the autofill down.

i have another sheet which has a total field which these should look at that gives a running total of productivity
