I'm working on a project to implement queuing in our in-front IVR system, and I was wondering if anyone has encountered a formula that can be used to determine the number of queue slots (ports) needed to handle call volume at a busy hour? I've looked through the Erlang methods, but I don't see anything that really fits the situation.

Thanks - Brad

Would the fact that a port requires a trunk circuit or equivalent to be connected, count as a way to determine how many ports you need by using the trunk quantity as the port quantity?
