I use Crystal Reports with Progression Explorer. The problem I am having is on the following sample report. It is duplicating my qty ordered. If I click on do not duplicate then it doesn't give the qty ordered if the Purchase order number is different.

PO number qty ordered

12345 10000
10000 - eliminate
10000 - eliminate
21565 10000

I don't want the qty ordered to duplicate on the same po, but I need for it to show if the purchase order number changed.

You can either group by the PO number and put your data in the group header or put a suppress formula on the qty ordered field. This formula would look something like this:

{table.po_number} = previous({table.po_number}) and
{table.qty_ordered} = previous({table.qty_ordered})

-Dell

A computer only does what you actually told it to do - not what you thought you told it to do.

OK I am a macola expert as well as a crystal hired gun.

Please explain your table linking. Also please tell us your version of crystal and your database and version (Pervasive or MS SQL, and the version) also connectivity used, native or ODBC.

Most likely you need to link the POORDHDR_SQL table to the POORDLIN_SQL table on ord_no. Please confirm this and let me know.
