Hello,
I have always used .mdb files in Crystal Reports, but now I have to export data from our online database as an Excel file. So I figured out how to insert it into CR and create my report, but I always get this error message when I try and insert an updated excel file:
"Some tables could not be replaced, as no match was found in the new data source. Please specify the table required for any unmodified tables."
Now, I've noticed that the online database names the export file with the date it was exported. So it does not match the file names in the formulas...I have tried to copy the file name in the formula and make that the file name before inserting again, but it still gives me that error message...
Is there something I'm missing with the file name and importing the new, updated file?
Oh, and I'm adding the excel by:
-New Connection
-Access/Excel (DAO)
-Select file
-Database Type: Excel 8.0
Thanks.
