formula error

I have created a report in CR 8.5 and it runs perfectly in CR8.5. When I run it in Enterprise via the url with ActiveX viewer, it gives me the following error.

Error in file sla14.rpt
Error in formula sla14.rpt [on Page Server my-nt.pageserver]

It doesn't give me any other information at all. I have turned on logging for Page Server, but it doesn't show anything.

Any ideas on what might be happening or where it might be writing a valid error message so I can troubleshoot?

what version of enterprise are you running. If 8 set the -loglevel 9 (for verbose) and if 8.5 add -trace

Also have a look in the event viewer for what got logged there.

If you can, open the report in CR on the server itself and do a Verify Database to make sure it is fine in that environment.

Doesn't help that the error is vague.

I am running CE8, I turned on loglevel 9 and looked in the wcs and pageserver logs. Pasted below is only valid info to me.

Event Viewer has nothing.

I opened the report in CR8.5 on the server and ran fine.

In answer to your questions:

When processing the report in CR9, a verification of the database does happen.

The Data Source for the report is an Oracle 9i database
through a ODBC connection.
When executing the solution for the aforementioned
Kbase. Get to the direction of clicking on the &quot;Advanced&quot; window where there should be box with a description &quot;Procedure returns results&quot; as a description.
(This is a Winnt Box).

Have gone to the CCM and used the &quot;update objects&quot;. There were no objects identified to be updated.

When you say what account is the Job Serverset to run as, I was not positive as to your meaning. After opening the CMC and locking ito the Servers selection, looked at the
default selection for the &quot;unmanaged disc&quot; option, then the sign-on info. Is this what you meant?.
If so I have it set to a username and password to allow access to the CE Server.
