A report has been written based on a Crystal query, and it was running fine.

The Crystal query was then changed to pick up some new fields. Query runs fine with new fields picked up.

BUT...although the new fields are visible and available on the Field Explorer on the main report editor, they are NOT visible or available on the Formula Editor list of report fields (in this case all Query.fieldname). This latter editor has retained the list of field names from when the report was first written.

Firstly, it's a bit of a poor show, isn't it? Secondly, and more importantly, how do I force the Formula Editor list to refresh? I've tried Verify Database, Set Location, and Logging Off then On the Server, but nothing has shifted.

Answered my own question. I was only looking at the top list of fieldnames on the Formula Editor dropdown - i.e. the Report Fields. Had I gone below that and opened databasename>Query, I would have found all the new fields listed there. Which is what I've done. Must be time to go home!
