If two cells have the same value. these are days of the week, match, then I want a third cell to turn red. What is the formula?

The cells are F7 and H7 although this will be applied to a series of other cells.

Please advise and thank you in advance!

Hi,

I assume that your data starts in row 7
[tt]
1) select ALL the cells you want the CF to make RED.

2) open the Conditional Formatting wizard: Home > Styles > Conditional Formatting > New Rule > Use a formula... >

3) enter this formula:
=AND(F7=H7, ISNUMBER(F7))

4) select Format... and choose an appropriate format
[/tt]

A PICTURE is usually pretty worthless but...let me take an educated guess...
[tt]
=AND(F7=H7, NOT(ISNUMBER(F7)))
[/tt]
Looking at your worthless PICTURE, for instance, I cannot know what cell gets turned RED. None of your example DOW values are identical either. Seems strange to me.

If you want anything more specific, you'll need to upload your workbook. As I previously stated, your PICTURE is pretty much worthless beyond this.
