I am sending a basic HTML form to a Cold Fusion page that inserts into an Access Database and sends out an e-mail. I have a couple of users with slow connections that tell me that they can't use the form and that their browser times out before it finishes processing the page.

I just use a cfinsert and cfmail on the cfpage to process the form. Anyone ever have similar problems?

Id gaurantee that Ms Access 97+ can handle 30-45 concurrent users "selecting" data... but less than 5 concurrently "inserting".

If anyone has better stats than this please reply.

Access just isn't stable. If you want to paste some code, we can check it out and maybe rule out any code issues and determine that it is in fact the DB software.
