I have a new install of exchange 2003. I have redirected our IIS 5 server (server extensions tab) to point to the new Exchange 2003 server however it seems to reject mail send requests from frontpage. The forms mail fine through our existing Exchange 5.5 server. On the event log on IIS 5 server I get the following when I attempt to send mail from a Frontpage form;

Error #160005 Message: Bad response from SMTP host'mail': 551 This is not a relay host - mail must be to or from host domain.

I am sending to internal email accounts within my company domain therefore I am unsure as to the nature of the problem.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Barry

The problem was that my mail server is setup to use port 26 rather than the default 25. I therefore had to specify this in the frontpage server extensions i.e. SERVERNAME:26
