Forms Will Not Close

My data base is acting crazy. I am trying to import as much as I can save to a new database trying to isolate the offending item.

One of the issues that has developed is that my forms will open but I cannot get them to close. I either have to control alt delete and shut down Access or change the form to design view, choose not to save design changes and then the form will close.

Any ideas?

are you opening your db exclusively? someone could be locking you from making any changes...

It's only me. I copied our working copy to my computer to try and see what's going wrong.

how are you trying to close them? clicking on the cross or through code?

what happens when you try? any error messages? does the thing crash?

is this for every form? what about queries or reports?

I am just x-ing it to try and close it down. I don't get a error message. It doesn't do anything. Then when I switch to design view, I can close it down.

I do not know how to close using code.
