I have two forms, the first form has a drop down list and updates customer names on the form when a different customer is selected. I have a button that switchs to the second form, this form has contact information. On the second form I also have a button that switches back to the first form. When I go back to the first form and select a different client from the drop down list it does not update the form. Do I need to close the first form when going to the second and reopen from the second form?

No, but you may need to Recalc or Requery.

Ken S.

You can open the second form with an "acDialog" argument So the second argument to requery the combo will fire after closing the second form.
Code:
 DoCmd.OpenForm "SecondForm", , , , , [b]acDialog
 Me.MyCombo.Requery[/b]
