I have two forms, using two different tables. One form allows me to press the add new record, and then use the previous record button and scroll through all records. I have another form that when I press the add new record button, I can not use the previous record button, the error message says I can not go to the specified record. Can anyone tell me why one works and the other does not? Thanks in advance for any help.

The form that does not allow you to go back most likely has it's data entry property set to yes. This allows you ONLY to enter new records with that form. Go into the form design and check the properties for Allow Edits, Allow Deletions, Allow Additions, and Data Entry. They are all properties that affect the editing of records in the form.
