I have forms printer installed. We are using GP6.0 on a terminal server which is not a domain controller. When i print a report from forms printer/crsytal to screen, it all works ok. When i click the export button to export this report, nothing happens when logged in as normal user. Even if logged in as Terminal server administrator (on server) and any user in GP (including DYNSA ) does not give this export feature. Only when in logged in as DOMAIN ADMIN on server and then with ANY user and i mean any user, on GP, i get the export working fine. It is definitely not a GP security issue i feel. Where does forms printer install crystal as I know i haven't installed it on the terminal server separately? Also any ideas on how to correct this issue would be helpful. thanks

I had a similar problem to this years ago in an old citrix environment.

Find your temp directory (shared temp) and grant full control to everyone or domain users.

I think crystal writes temp data to a directory in preparation for an export.

oh come now, I'm sure you can find it. There's usually only a few common ones.

c:/temp
c:/winnt/temp

look for a directory with the word temp in it.
