Forms Load Balancing in 10g iAS

If one have server with lot of RAM (eg. 4GB+) is there sense of using two application instances on same host and doing forms load balancing or use just one application instance and increase number of oc4j processes under OC4J_BI_FORM container? I would like to get forms load balancing and failover between two application instances, however two appliaction instances on same host look little bit odd to me. My concern is that added complexity of second instance and additional RAM requirement for second application instance, just to use another OC4J_BI_FORM container, and disregard all else components of second instance can make it worse than with just one instance.

Any suggestions?
