Hi, we have been running a lot of Access 2000 .adp's going against sql server databases and were able to use the format properties on form field to change decimals places and so on to display a certain way. We have loaded Access 2007 and it doesn't seem to doing anything no matter what we change the format properties to. For example if our query(sp) returns a number like 12.34567000, it use to just display the 12.34567 and also if we changed format for decimal places from auto to 2, it would display 12.34 but now it always displays 12.34567000.

I'm not sure if this was something that might have been since Access 2003 or maybe something to do with xp or vista because the original pc's with this database was a Windows 2000 pro. Has anyone come across this? Thanks, Joe

Update to my above post. It seems to be a problem only with calculated fields from a stored procedure because it seems like Access 2007 doesn't know what type of data type the field is so not allowing to format it. If I change the sp and cast the calculated field as the data type I need like float or money, it then allows me to format as I like in Access 2007 forms. In Access 2000, we didn't have to do this.

Hope it helps someone else.
