Forms Creation Utilities?

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any third-party utilities or plug-ins available that are designed to streamline the task of working with the cosmetics of a form? I'm thinking of all the little stuff that takes so much time. I'd like to be able to say "Take these 6 objects I've selected and in one step, make them 10-point Arial Bold, X" width/height, center alignment, and also make them equidistant from each other vertically or horizontally." Or just select ALL the labels or ONLY the field boxes or only the fields in the detail section or header/footer section, etc. etc. Or if there are no utilities to achieve this, is there a book written on the topic or any other resource for coming up with ways to streamline the fine-tuning of the cosmetics?

Thanks in advance!

Karen

Carenne,

I am not aware of any "utility" for the steps you use as examples. You can accomplish many of the example just by selecting the (sub) set of controls of interest. All of their properties which are common to the selection set will be available for setting in the properties dialog box.

Try holding down the shift button and clicking on all the controls you want to modify then manipulate their properties as a whole.

Joe and Michael --Thanks for your replies. I already do the sub-grouped selections the way you described in your posts, but I was just wondering if there was a tool that would make the process go even faster, especially with regard to spacing between the controls and selecting certain groupings, or even creating sub-groupings much like you can with some of the DTP software. I guess it's just something to wish for that might come along in a future release. Thanks again! -- Karen
