forms and sub-forms; what's the problem??

I have made a form with several subforms, because i want to type data to other tables. The tables are ofcourse linked, but when i want to type in data i get the message that the form is either read-only, open in design view or the value is too large for the field.

Since nothing of the above is true, what is wrong???

If tables are linked, they are often readonly. John Fill
