Very simply, what i want to do is in one frame have a form and when i press the submit the information is passed and processed to a page in the second frame.

As a twist is it posiable to do the same thing but sending to an inline frame??

thanks in advance

Don;t know about an iframe but whatever you do, you'll have to use javascript to do it with. There is no method in HTML to pass data to another frame or browser window.

There's always a better way. The fun is trying to find it!

How about setting the "target" attribute of the form tag? It's valid HTML and AFAIK has been for quite a while now.

Basically, if you set the target of the form to the name of the iframe / frame, the form we be submitted to that iframe / frame.

Hope this helps,
Dan
