I have a Customer Care pool at my organization, covered by 5-6 employees throughout the day. Each employee (obviously) also has their own extension. Since one of these employees has left as of last week, I have been asked to see whether this is possible: am I able to forward any direct calls to that extension back into the pool, so that they can be covered by the remaining employees?
My suggestion to them, if this isn't possible, is simply to check the voicemail for that extension and follow up on calls, as eventually the direct calls to his extension will dry up.. is there any other solution?
