When there is no fax number in the database the report i am generating displays a bunch of zeros 000-0000. if someone has an idea how i can supress this zeros please let me know. thank you in advance

You can go to the option format field and under the common tab you will see an option there to suppress. IN the formula box, put in the formula, (tablname.field) = "000-0000" and save it, it will suppress that particular field when the fax number = 000-0000. Try this and see if it works.

I just did what you told me and It does not seem working. I mean It does not supress those zeros.
