formatting text (want to remove hyphen from item numbers) 1

Hi,
My item numbers are of the format R-A00-1 R-S01-2A ETC..
In my report I want it to be displayed as RA001 RSO12A ETC..i.e with no hyphens..
Can we do this??

Create a formula field, Replace({field}, "-", ""). Display this in place of the original value

It helps to give your Crystal version, since newer versions have extra solutions, and some extra problems. I use Crystal 8.5
