I'm brand new to Pagemaker and am trying to do a book cover. I cannot figure out how to highlight text or add a shadow for more of a 3D effect. HELP!

Thanks.

debtet:

In PM for Windows you can use fonts (TrueType=Windows) or Adobe.
You cannot use shadows -this must be done by PhS and it will deliver images.
Highlight: Mark text and assign any color, also percentage 0..100%.
Define new colors e.g. by Pantone system.

If you use fonts with inherent shadows, e.g. Gills San Light Shadow, you
have a font with 3D-effects, not a soft shadow.

To resume: "shadows must be inherent to the font.
