Hi, I am new to Crystal Reports and I have just completed a report, but it has 3 text fields that contain numeric decimal data. The fields all print fine, but we want them to have 3 decimal places. As of now they look like this:
13
7.12345
18.2
ect

Can anyone give me a hint as to what I could do to get all 3 fields to look like this format?
9.999

Thanks...

Right click on the object and click on format field. Click on Customize and select 0.000

When I right click on the object, then select format, there is no option to custimize. Do I have an old version? I am on 10.0

Have customize in 8.5 so you should have it in 10.

Hmmmm.... When you clicked on Format field, did you come up in the Number Tab? If you didn't, then it is not a number field.

You are correct, it was not numeric. I created a numeric formula field using the existing field, then it all came alive. Thanks for your assistance!
