I need to know how to change the order things are getting displayed. I have to group by account type name, when I do this it displays it in this order

Assets
Equity
Liabilities

I need to display them in this order

Assets
Liabilities
Equity

can anyone help me with this, if you can I have many other questions that need to be answered.

Thanks

create a formula in the details section:
if {accounttype} = "assets" then 1
else if {accttype}=Liabilities" then 2
else 3

This will assign the value of 1, 2 or 3 to each record. Group on that field instead of the {accttype} field. Finally, to get the group header to display the proper text, rt click on the group, select change group and "customixe group name" select {accttype} as the field to use as the group name, or enter a formula. The report will then sort in the specified order of assets, liabilities, and equity.
